Consistent, yet flaky. We dominate possession and a lot of times the DCL and DCR stop attacks on the wings, but there's always that ONE FUCKING SHOT ON TARGET that gets a goal for the enemy. I'm experimenting with different midfield and attack options to see if at least I can create something that will surely be outscoring every opponent.
For example, Dzeko scored from outside the penalty area and it looked like a simple shot that Handanovic should've had covered. In other times, a simple set piece helps the opponents get something out of it. I wonder if maybe I can try and steer this into a boring posession tactic, based a lot on set pieces, as the current Real Madrid inspires me a lot (last night Sergio Ramos was there after a corner again, though it was straight at Ochoa). I mean, I'm yet to see a manager that ventured all that deep in the set pieces, so it could be worth exploring and experimenting into?
I just think this ME is fucked up royally with the 3-at-the-back, as one moment the back 3 stretches out to stop the wingers, the next they contain and line up in the penalty area one meter away from each other. I don't get it.
