2036 Hot Prospect Report
As I did previously - I'm going to highlight four of my better prospects who are yet to break into the first team. Ideally, I'll review this post again in a few years and check their development.
1 - Kjarten Bidne
Maybe starting to stagnate in the 2 team already, but conscious of bringing him up to the first team at such a young age. He doesn't actually appear to have amazing attributes and hasn't played amazingly well - but I know there is a skew because of his pace and he is also quite inconsistent. Behind Koffi, I don't have a lot of depth at WBR - so I want to give him a chance to prove me wrong. He goes down as my hottest prospect as he was a best of his generation in the intake.
2 - Jorgen Granli
With Kristian Golden now 32, Granli is close to being ready to take over his mantle and move to the first team. An almost carbon copy, with now great teamwork and workrate - Granli has got all the right attributes for a regista. He does need a bit more time in the 2 team though - another season at least.
3 - Lorenc Rexha
Already an international with Kosovo - I like his leadership but worry about some of his other mental stats, particularly aggression. Quite a bit taller than my other centre backs and with Osei Asamoah currently sidelined for 8 months with a broken leg, and pushing 30, it could be a chance sooner rather than later for Rexha.
4 - Kevin Boukaka
My £1.9k steal from now-feeder club Oslo City - the half Congolese lad has fantastic technique, very well developed mentals and is very physical for a lad of his age. Didn't look too much when I signed him but has really developed well. He is already very close to being as good as first teamer Amadou Diallo, but the 28 year old has been with me since he was 18 and it's going to take much more consistent 2 team performances to make that breakthrough.
On another, quite sentimental note, I have a new 2 team manager and what better person than Aleksander Bohlin Falch - who, bar a few years, has spent his whole career at the club, was one of my first M.Pro's and is actually a very good member of staff!
